No More Raxles Axles?

So after driving more that 70k miles with torn CV boots, I finally called Raxles to order new LHS/RHS axles for my 1999 MT Maxima...I was told they no longer make Maxima axles, ugh.

So what's the best next choice? My car has about 160K miles and is still running great so I plan on keeping it for several more years.

Thanks

They stopped because people were giving them crappy aftermarket cores and not oem worn out ones. If you can supply them oem nissan axles they will be able to help you. If you don't believe my look it up on the forum it's been documented before.

I was one of those people..

But I didn't realize it wasn't OEM.

We need someone new to rebuild OEM ones for us but that's highly unlikely.

I called raxles and the guy didn't mention me sending him oem axles and being able/willing to rebuild them. So as long as I send him oem axles he'll be ok to rebuild them?

Say it aint so! Both my axles are shot and I'm counting the time till they start the click of death dance....got some time now. I was hoping to have Raxles come through. I'm pretty sure my axles are OEM...is there a way to tell? Also, what would be the turnaround time? Actually, these are good questions to ask the Raxles guy himself.

Iirc, he wasnt making money to justify doing axles for our cars. I think hes done for good, unless someone can organize a group deal type thing. It wouldnt make sense for him to accept axle cores, oem or not, if he isnt actively rebuilding them.

Aside from attempting to get a group deal, just use napa axles. They are supposed to be good quality and they wernt too expensive either. I bought a pair but i havnt gotten the chance to swap them in so i can personally vouch for quality.

I sent an email to Marty asking about this, I'm still waiting to hear back from him.
