The bolt (between the red lines) is sticking out too far for me to remove the rear timing cover. I was able to remove the front by rotating the cover, but that isn't going to work when I reinstall, None of my tools have been able to grip it tight enough to remove it. Any tips?

What are you trying to do here? I think that's the passenger motor mount stud? How much clearance is needed? You could try loosening the other motor mounts and tilting the engine perhaps?

I'm replacing all o-rings/ seals. I really only need to get the rear cover out so I can clean everything and apply the RTV properly.Originally Posted by Maximeltman

Correct it's the stud where the lower bracket of the passenger motor mount is attached to.
I probably only need an extra half inch or less of clearance and Id be happy.
Okay ill try loosening the other mounts to see if I can get it to tilt.

Fingers...man, I wish. These are the original mounts, maybe the stud has bent or something. Any other advice is still welcomed. Rediculously hot AZ weather doesnt make this any easier. I'll be at this most of the night.Originally Posted by sdunker
Just had mine all apart. That stud should screw out with just using you fingers. May have to jack engine up a little to get it to go.
