leather question

My "99 SE has leather seats and I want to know if the inserts on the door panels are leather or vinyl. They look like leather but some of the vinyl can fool you. I know the bottoms of the seats are vinyl. The inserts on the door panels that look like leather have a softer, finer, grain than the seat leather. I know on another thread people were talking about ordering leather inserts but I don't know if there was an original equipment option for leather inserts. Thanks for any information on this subject.

The inserts on the door panels are not leather but vinyl. Brochure says "leather seating surface", not leather interior.

Everything but the seating surfaces are vinyl. I believe only the 99SE-L has the all leather interior.

You are correct! I do have all leather in my SE-L and it's perforated down the middle too. There actually nice and soft as well. But my doors are vinyl.

You have leather covering the sides, and backs of your front seats? Did your e-brake boot and center compartment (armrest) come in leather as well, or that vinyl crap? Just curious.

I have a '99 SE-L and it's vinyl on the sides & back of the front seats, vinyl on the armrest, vinyl on the e-brake, vinyl on the middle portion of the rear site, vinyl on the door inserts.

there is no such thing as "all leather" interior on a 4th gen.
