Mass Air Flow Sensor fail again

1997 NISSA MAXIMA

I bought this car just couple weeks ago and start give me trouble with the mass air sensor.

I buy a new one and still give the same code, even at Autozone reset my computer and the check engine come up again.

Also clean the ground cables (battery and engine) to see if this help....but nope.

I find a cable with a connector and i dont know where is going or for what is help.

Please anybody can help me how to resolve this problem.

which code, SPECIFICALLY is coming up?

Did you replace the MAF with an OEM unit or aftermarket?

ok get rid of your aftermarket MAF, find a used OEM one either on here or at a junkyard if you wanna avoid spending biig $$$.

MAF is one of those things (and ignition coils) that you want to stick with OEM on.

Remanufactured OEM MAFs are available on the internet; you don't have to buy new from the dealer. I paid about $150 for one on-line from autopartsexpress.com over two years ago; still going strong. Good luck.
