Yes and no. Electrically they are similar, but physically they're slightly different. The 00VI upgrade for 4th genners details using three 5th gen coils that fit the 5th gen valve cover that is used on some of the 00VI versions. Some 00VI versions use all 4th gen parts (except the actual VI, of course) and others use more 5th gen parts like coils, valve cover, fuel rail and injectors.

They should fit.....the valve covers are basically all the same on the VQ30DE's and very different on the VQ35DE's which won't interchange with the VQ30DE's.....the 5th Gen's came with 2 different

They should work, I tried it before using 2 5th gen coils, they have 1 10mm screw, vs 4th gen coils have 2 8mm screws, I think only way they will work, correct me if I'm.wrong, is if you swap both valve covers from a 5th gen vq30de onto your car. My car ran fine minus a slight hesitation at times with the 2 5th gen coils I had, so yes they work.

They do not fit guys.

I have a 4th and 5th. I wanted to use a 5th coil to test a faulty one on my 4th. IIRC they are different sizes and don't bolt up.

Of course, they may fit if you swap valve covers lmao...

The clear and simple answer is no they will not,

Now you can mod the front valve cover to make it work, but you will need to utilize the 00-01 front vc, than put on a new gasket and use all 3 00-01 coils, why even bother doing so? use the correct coil for the correct gen and you will be happy,
