Anyone heard of 1401 and 1405 MIL codes?
For the second time in a few months, my 99 wouldn't run shortly after it was turned off. At first, it would run for a few seconds then die. Then it would just turn over endlessly. Both times, waiting for 1/2 hour the car will then run. This time though, while it was down, I did the ECU diagnosis and got 1401 and 1405 together. "Great", I thought, "Now I know what to fix so this won't happen again", but I can't find a description for this code. Anyone have a 99 svc manual or other knowledge to share?
Car has 45K and runs perfect otherwise.
Thanks

In the 1999 FSM Codes P1401 and P1405 point to the EGR System:
P1401: EGR Temperature Sensor
P1405: Isn't mentioned #$%$
I just pulled P1401 myself and will be investigating it further, so if I learn anything I'll let you know. 14xx codes seem to be 1999 specific so we don't see very much info about them anywhere.
I also have P1405, but I have no idea what it is. It's probably EGR related as well, so I'm hoping by fixing 1401 we can get 1405 to go away.
