bose

its funny u mentioned the bose display, i have a 98 gle and since i bought the car the display has been hit or miss, i took it out and tried to do the madchef resistor fix...but those directions are for the 95-96 bose units and the one i have was quite different...anyway i took it all apart and couldnt find a loose resistor and said screw it and plugged the boards back together and reinstalled it into my car and to my surprise the display has beeen working perfect ever since!
im thinking maybe one of the plugs on the boards wasnt seated tightly?...who knows but i hope it stays fixed...its nice having a display working perfect

knock on wood!!!!!
