How to remove side mirror inside triangular cover?

What's the technique for removing the triangular cover that is over the side mirror bolts?

I have the door panels off already, but I don't see how the mirror covers attach and I don't want to break whatever holds them on.

Thanks,

Just pry it off gently without breaking it.

Do the clips hold in any particular direction? It's not held in like the door handle backpieces that have to be pushed in a particular direction (forward)to unhook or they break?

Thanks,

It clips onto the door at 90° angle. It easily pops off using a flat head and cloth to avoid scratches.

Thanks, got them off.

Based on the 90 degree idea, I just sort of grabbed them at the bottom with no tools and gently pulled up. They came off.

Unfortunately all three bolts holding the mirror on snapped on both sides, so it looks like I will be doing some drilling to work those out.
