The fastbrakes brackets are beef (even if they are aluminum). I've run them for at least 20k trouble-free miles so far. No extra washers or grinding calipers to make them fit either - they are milled from a single chunk of aluminum, so no welds to fail like on the steel ones.

just search for a 1996. You can use the 30mm aluminum or iron. Just not the 26mm. Fast brakes is a decent enough kit but Ill stick with the steel. A better bracket. The stock caliper set-up uses washers. Every kit does. Its to get it centered perfectly. This is just another option for people. If modification scares you then stick with aluminum
