Is converting a five speed to a manual easier than changing the engine?

howdy, the yard guy said this engine is an alternate term for a female dog to change. Is it easier to convert the 5 speed to a manual? From what I saw of the car, it needs a fuel pump, back seat a rear driver window and a battery. Just wondering because I had no idea. thank you much

??? Did you mean auto to manual?

If thats what you meant id believe so considering 5spd swaps are by far more common than a whole engine swap. Theres plenty of threads on the matter.

It's really easy to convert a 5 speed to a manual!!!

If you want to switch from automatic to 5 speed there is a little bit of work to put in, but not bad.

If you want to go from 5 speed to automatic, you can, but I think it would be a PITA.

I meant manual to auto, all the threads I noticed were reversed. If I can't get an engine swap for under $700, I think I might scrap my max and get a full size truck. Being just shy of 6'6", I fit better in a truck, not to mention it would be harder to space out not realizing I'm in reckless driving territory.
