Hello,

I have a 98' Nissan Maxima SE. A few weeks ago i started noticing that my lights where getting dim (internal and external). I took it to Advanced Auto Parts and got my charging system checked. They said everything was OK except for the (Trickle Charge) they called it on my alternator. Any idea how to pinpoint issue.

Do you have the battery light and parking break light on at the same time? Reason I ask is because I had a problem with my alternator as well, had a shop test it and it was charging good like its suppose to, but one day it just went out.

Also, any CEL on for codes?

 

Hey thx but I figured it out it was a bad ground just replaced that and got a new red top battery
