07+ Altima and 09+ Maxima motors have HR heads with DLC coated lifters, composite plenum, fine spray injectors, M12 spark plugs.

If only those FWD variants came with a better oil pump and a bottom end like the RWD HR:

I'm kicking myself for not dropping in an HR pump.

Ahh so these are the limited fourth gen. Maximas.?!
Clearly back in 95-99 multi port fuel injection was just new sense!

I agree, I had a 91 from 2003 to 2013, put 150K miles on it. Sold it to a cousin who rolled it 2 1/2 times, taking out a light pole in the process....walked away without a scratch.

Just picked up a 95 from C3 Auto Group in Plano Texas, 84k miles, super clean with barely noticeable interior wear. Hope to enjoy this one for at least ten years as well!

If only, if only; however, what we have is better than nothing!

Any reason why you would want the HR pump over the rev up? http://g35driver.com/forums/6839413-post23.html

No, those are newer VQ35s that people install in 4th and 5th gens for more power.

Thank you very much for that wonderful compliment.

I considered purchasing another 4th gen after this one. These cars are pretty good, not too hard to work on or fix, has a lot of forum support. The 3.0 responds well to boost and is a blast to drive in that state.

I love my 1996, in fact it is my favorite car EVER......however the rust is very quickly taking hold. At this point there is no turning back with respect to rust repair.
I would love to buy another 4th gen, but with the cars nearing 20 years old god only knows how bad the PO care was. At least my family has owned my 1996 since birth.
