Got a ? before i go ahead and drop the MAX??? (H&R)

I'v done some research and cant find some of the answers to my questions... Im looking at getting some H&Rs with Tokico blues USED off of this guy. I think that he used them for 30,000 miles. Do these things wear out over time? Also, right now the stock car looks like a tug boat! The front gap is larger than the rear. I know that the Eibachs lower the front more than the rear. Will the H&R's do the same. Thanx for input!!

Springs never wear out. Dampers do. I have 60,000 miles on my Tokico HPs.

pretty much those springs will last longer than the car. the drop on the H&R's will be more of a level drop (i think) than the eibachs "aggressive" look.

i'd check the shocks though. just make sure the rebound is still pretty smooth. push the shock down and see how quick or smooth the shaft comes back.

hope this helps.

Roger that.

A lot of people on this board were very dissapointed with the Tokico Blues due the to fact that the ride went from good to terrible in as little as 8,000 - 10,000 miles.

No, they do have a lifetime warranty, but you said you were buying them used and I dont know if that person filled out all the warranty information (If there was any, I dont know I have KYB GR2s).

But yeah, Tokico has a lifetime warranty for defects.

h&r spring with the tokico shocks will give you the best ride. if you want a lower drop then you should try the kyb shocks and stay away from tokico.

but i would never buy used shock when lowering a car.

springs don't last forever guys... they sag and fatigue as they age and accumulate miles.

Yesterday I just put on my KYB AGX struts and H&R springs. Even though H&R offers less of a drop, I'd really recomend going w/Koni or KYB AGX struts. Its not worth the hastle (and the crappy ride) to just buy cheaper struts.
