PR CAI problem/question

Installed the PR CAI today and took the max for a test drive. wow its insane, and a damn beautiful sound. the only problem is that when I make right turns, i hear a scraping/rubbing noise maxil ...sounds sorta like the noise you hear when you drag a metal shovel over concrete. has anyone had this problem or know what i can do to fix it? thanks all, this mod kicks a**.

probably the intake pipe rubbing on your newly drilled hole. use some type of filling material to prevent contact between the hole and the pipe (ie. rubber).

that should help.

Thanks, I'll check on that. But the kit comes with a lining that snugs around the pipe. And if that were the prob, then wouldn't it make that noise all the time, not just when i make right turns? Thanks again for your advice

If the noise is that noticeable then you've got to be scratching/rubbing something. Look around for signs of damage like scratches on the tubing and you'll probably find the culprit in no time.
