No rear tail lights

I have no rear tail lights and when I hit the brake the front park lights come on. Real strange. The front park lights are out as well as the tail lights. The brake lights work but the front park lights come on with them. Any ideas?

You might have the wrong bulbs in there or fuse blew. What did you do to the car? What did someone else, a mechanic etc. do to the car recently. We need more info.

Do you have dash lights?

Did someone replace a brake or tail light bulb on the rear of the car?

Check for a bad ground in the trunk. A lifted ground would cause no tails, and then the brakes would power through the brake filament, then the tail filament, through the front parks and finally the ground on the front park lights.

Exactly my thoughts. I installed a bulb in the tail light, on my first car 99 sonta gls 2.5l v6 all aluminum dohc sweet ride, and apparently the filament was wrong even though the bulb looked the same. I checked the number and it was off. Caused the dash or tail light fuse to blow and I had no dash lights. Sounds like a similar experience.
