Redoing my headlights, any, and all ideas welcome
So my headlights are pretty dark at nights, it's like they not on at all when I'm drive unless I hit a dark spot then I can see that there's some light shining, this is what my headlights look like now
Stock... so my question is, would HID's work good with these, is it possible for me to cut, and stick a projector in there with, and seal it up, how would the output be, and last if this headlight won't be any good for the above ideas then would choosing another stock headlight from a 97 or so with clear type headlights work best, I don't wanna spend all that money buying the dual output ones I see on ebay, I need help here, going to junkyard to get parts is not a problem, all ideas welcome

Get a set of r34's and retrofit them. Or get some from a 97-99 Maxima to retrofit. The fluted glass on the headlights you have now will cause the output to be scattered.
or if you simply want to restore your headlights, I have a 3M Headlight Restore kit that I am selling.

Get the clear maxima headlights (97-99), an ebay hid kit, and a cheap set of hid projectors (2.5"-3" lens), and bezels. You can attempt this yourself and take your time, then when you get more finances, get the r34s and a better set of d2s projectors. You will need a d2s hid kit since vendors will try to sell you a 9004 kit for your car. You won't need 9004, only d2s.

check out theretrofitsource.com
Projectors themselves can run as cheap as 50 bucks...or as much as several hundred. Keep in mind there is also the cost of HID bulbs, Ballasts, and associated wiring harnesses or relays as well.
My retrofit is going to run about 600 bucks, not including the purchase of the headlights (OEM from another member on here), and I'm doing the work myself. But I'm not going cheap on components, either. You can get a complete retro kit for only a couple hundred if you don't want STELLAR output, though it'll still be better than stock halogens.

Another alternative that works and provides a cutoff line is BiXenon style HID, this method has a glare shield that prevents the scattering/blinding oncoming drivers characteristic of HID in Halogen housings....I used this in my 86.5 D21 for years and my truck doesn't shoot the beam all in the trees!

Absolutely you can, check these out. I'm putting them in my high beams

Listen this is what ur gunna need to do ... But either acura tl , murano, or s2000 , morimoto
Mini d2s , and find someone or yourself to retro fit them in ur stock housing or buy the r34 like I did and stick duel projectors in them... For temperature aka color stick between 4300k -6000k best usable output for the kelvin spectrum...
Stay away from throwing hid in the stocm housings they are horrible blind oncoming traffic and urself also when the weather is bad

Some info from talking to they guy I just bought my retro'd lights from:
New ebay headlights = $55
Generic Mini H1 projectors = $45
DDM ballast and bulbs = $45
moto harness for bi-xenon to work properly = $35
total = $180
Optional: hb35 H1 bulbs (much brighter than DDM) - $65
Then tune, install, and align the projectors, or pay a retrofitter to do it for you (at least $125?).

Since you didn't or Don't understand....Bi-Xenon HID is both low beam an High beam HID! HID hi-lo is only HID low beam with some useless halogen H3 as your high beam (What a joke!!!!) The picture I post are to illustrate that my low beam are only in the lower region with a cut off line and not all over the road!

I thought I got a chance to see A32 R34 lights in action and the light output with halogen bulbs was awful....Anyone in here can comment in too help clear up my initial perception of some R34 A32 headlights not performing anyway as close of OEM nor OEM replacements.
