engine is great as it is, check your lower radiator support for rust, if you have the factory keyless entry remote you can roll down your windows, a good mod is to add an aftermarket y pipe you will benfit from doing so, frees up the exhaust air flow alot,

thanks, will do. much appreciated. must say i was surprised at the pickup on this a32...came from a 3.8 6cyl commodore and it has more kick to it

looks basic as, but i plan to make it visually appealing, the stealth look though nothing too flashy.

definately wanna throw an exhaust system on it, wondering the possibility of injector upgrades and whats the best approach for that?

cheers

Welcome to the org.

I wish I could answer your question about fuel injectors, but I don't know that stuff. There are 2 forums here on Maxima.org that may have that information all ready answered.

One is Advanced Performance - http://forums.maxima.org/advanced-performance-39/
The other is Track & Tune - http://forums.maxima.org/track-tune-31/

You are always welcome to ask here as there are members that do know that information.

One thing that could be useful is the Nissan Service manual. It is called FSM for Factory Service Manual.

Here is the link. The only caution is that these are for the North American Maximas, Canadian and USA. I know that our cars are not identical.

If you plan to sit on this car for a long while look into 00vi swaps. Basically you swap the intake manifold from a 5th gen maxima onto your engine for quite respectable yields. Great mod if you do it yourself in your garage/driveway, i think the stickies have some links regarding this but if not the stickies in the advanced performance >> all motor subforum certainly do.

Welcome aboard and check that pesky rad support!

EDIT: Just noticed youre from down under so your car likely has a MEVI already which would make a 00vi swap redundant..

Spot welds are easy to reomve. You drill into it just a tad. Buy a wire welder from craigslist or garage/yard sale for cheap. There are writeups with pictures here. Save your money and spend it on more parts on the car.
