Whistle

Hello everyone, I have a question. Does anyone know if the Egr would cause some type of whistling noise. I replaced my manifold gasket and when I took off the intake manifold the egr gaset came off. I put it back on and since then I have been experiencing a whistling coming from that general area. It anyone has a suggestions as to what would be causing this noise, as I am open for suggestions. Thank you in advance

Sounds like it could be a vacuum leak, if you are missing the gasket then that would be the first place to look. Did you use new gaskets for everything you removed?

I used new gaskets in everything I removed except the EGR. I checked all my hoses and there are no leaks there. I think I going to replace the entire EGR and the gasket. I tried to clean the EGR, but that just made it worse.
