Air noise when accelerating

Air noise when accelerating
I did not know but I drove my maxima with a broken air hose, that comes out of the engine and into the air cleanser box. My maxima was driving very sluggish and making loud noises when accelerating. Now I replaced the hose and the air cleanser box and it still makes the same noise when accelerating.
Is there a way to fix this?
97 maxima 5 speed
thanks

Edited to a 5 speed I see.
It's ok, typos happen.
It also looks like your car needs some serious tlc.
That engine bay.
I heard timing chain guides/tensioners and you probably have a hose split from age under hood.
You're going to need to check all your hoses and then CLEAN THAT BAY!!

You can hear the throttle body whistle.
Check the fresh air intake tube coming into the air filter box from the scoop. Make sure it hasn't disconnected from the filter box or come apart at any other seam and that the intake air temp sensor is secured in place with the rubber grommet.
