Vacuum line disconnected? What is this?

I am trying to figure out what this line connects to. It is confusing me because everywhere I look there is no place that this couples with. I have tried looking at pictures of other engine bays and looked at a 99 max engine bay in person and have been unable to find this line. I need to pass smog in the next few days and can't afford for this to cause me to fail for any reason. Any help fellas? I turned it upside down in the second pic to show the size of the inlet.Name: 20140502_225240.jpg

Nothing to worry about; that's how it's supposed to be. It's a breather tube for the transmission.
