Low Offset?

Hello guys, I've found some wheels that would really look nice on my maxima but i think there may be a fitment issue.

I don't mind having to roll my fenders, but i'm not positive if it's overkill or not.

The specs of the wheels are 17x8.5 -10.

I've used the calculator on the site and my wheels will be extended about 76mm further than they are now.

I'm just wondering, can a rolled fender even extend that far?

Also, will i need to pull them too?

OR.. should i just look for other wheels?

How big of a hassle would it be to fit these wheels?

Thanks, Carl.

76 mm? That's 3 inches. I think you should look at other wheels

Yup..-10 is way too out..personal thought on that when I see cars/trucks like that on freeway, from the back they look like the body (no wheels) of that vehicle sitting on a trailer that's being pulled/towed by a truck. Idk if you get the idea but anyways, if you want something like that, just get wells wheels that stay FLUSHED with the fenders. Then roll fenders if needed. But don't overkill it with the offset.

I am deciding between just rolling or rolling and pulling my fenders. Do you guys know anyone on the org with both of these setups? I would like to ask them some questions...

Thanking you in advance.

I don't know of anyone in the negative offsets.

8.5" wheels are 1" or 25.4mm wider each side than stock so you'd need an offset of 70.4mm to be equivalent to stock wheels (6.5" 45mm offset) in terms of fender width. You can calculate what you can do from there.

Guys! I found the same wheels I want in a +25 offset. s 17x8.5 +25 will indeed fit BUT my next question is Center bore.

The Center bore of the wheel is 73. Will they still fit no problem?

Edit : there's also a 17x8.5 +0 set.

Using the website calculator the wheels will stick out 65mm further than they are now.

With the +25 offset they will stick out 40mm further

You can get 66.1mm to 73.1mm hub rings.

0 offset is still too low.

Im not running hubrings with my ford rims. The conical lug nuts center the wheel just fine.
