Noise when clutching in, stumped...
so this just starting happening after i was driving home,
i was driving home and started to notice that the car didnt want to go into gear, its a 5spd, noticed that when i clutch in all the way and try to get it into a gear, i hear what sounds like the gears of the transmission making a whining noise but it would not shift unless i forced it, it happens with every gear, moving or not moving
checked the hydraulic lines and did not notice any leaks in the clutch system, the weird thing is when i clutch in all the way, these issues happen, when i release the clutch a little, the shifter goes into gears like it normally does,
could it be the slave cylinder piston is coming out too far, never heard of that happening before

nope, its my clutch pressure plate or throw out bearing, but my car was written off so i'll be parting out my car shortly once i figure out what parts a local member would like
