Before I decide to get rid of my 4th Gen...

Just trying to see if there's anything else expected to need servicing.. It has 170000 miles on it
within the last 2 years these items have been replaced
water pump
Radiator
condenser
starter
springs
struts
axles
tie rods
Sway bar end links
Knock sensor
oxygen sensor

car was totaled out but I bought it back to save money and eliminate some consumer debt... I know someone told me to let it go before but at the the time that wasn't an option. Since above things have been fixed, should I just keep ole girl for a while?

Well, since you already bought it back, you must of felt that was the right decision to do at the time. Hard to say, just go with your gut feeling. And of course, think about it for a week before you possibly sell it.

Your injectors will be due for servicing soon.
Any rust? You'll have to look out for the dreaded radiator rust support.
Coilpacks may go on you sooner or later.

I kept my 95 5MT that was rear ended and totaled. Even though the rear was wrecked, I ended up selling it to a guy who needed to be driving a car instead of a motorcycle during winter. He's still using the car as his daily driver roughly 3 years later.

Not too much rust... Does the coil packs in a 96 go bad? I've heard not those issues in the 99s

They do. Pretty common issue with Nissan vehicles.

I would consider how much rust you can deal with. Also what you want from the car. The Maximas can last far longer than 170k miles. You could ask a mechanic to give it an evaluation. As long as the major , expensive things like engine, transmission, suspension, electrical are mostly sound the car is worth keeping. Sometimes a lot of stuff seems to break down at once. But once that is all fixed, the car could be relatively trouble free for several years.

You know what is wrong with the car you own. You will not know what is wrong with a more expensive used car that you just bought. And every car you could buy would sell for more than the Maxima is worth.

It really comes down to how much you like the car. If you are tired of it and can afford a newer one, go for it. On the other hand, if you do like the car it could be driven for a long time to come.

Point Taken, I'll Ride This One Out For A While Because I Don't Want Any Investment Money Tied Up Into Getting A New Vehicle

Most important thing that it drives, A newer car can be nice.. but why have payments for a new car that is unnecessary and does the same thing that brings the driver from point A to point B? Besides I like the 4th gen. They simply made it look beast
