Amazing, I just installed mine this past weekend. I have a 95 GLE and bought mine the same way. Now to your question, I don't know who your supplier is but mine was purchased on ebay from a shop in IL. The paint matching was awesome. Anyway, It came with no template because you can mount in anywhere you want. I personally went for the factory look. I think that looks good. Anyway, the most difficult part is the first hole you drill since there's no turning back then. Make sure that BEFORE you do any drilling, you measure and remeasure to make sure it's straight. Once you drill there's no turning back. I contacted several local body shops and they either didn't want to touch it or they wanted something ridiculous for it. It took me about 2 hours to do even after thinking about that first hole for about 30 mins. Seriously, once your spoiler arrives email me and if it's like my kit. I'll walk you thru it.

I'd be more than willing to help. The only thing is that like I stated above, I bought my spoiler off the net and had it shipped to the house. When it arrived, it only had basic instructions. The key was that the spoiler came with these special kind of plastic "tabs" to use as guides. They are like long thin plastic tabs with a little nipple in the middle. The nipple is inserted where the screws screw into the spoiler on the bottom. You then put the spoiler in the desired position with the tabs laying flat between the deck lid and the spoiler. Once you found your spot, you tape the tabs (with masking tape) to the deck lid and lift the spoiler off. All you're left with is the tabs taped to the lid. The tabs have a small hole in the center of the little nipple that got inserted into the screw hole. The hole will serve as a guide for your drill bit. This is where we separate the men from the boys; You take a 3/32 drill bit (it's tiny) and drill the alloted pilot holes, in my case it was six. Once drilled, you remove all the tabs and now you take a 5/16 drill bit and make the pilot holes into much bigger ones. This is the part that will make you sweat. Anyway, the rest is much simpler and I can walk you guys thru at that point. The key is to take your time and measure the spoiler very throughly. I measured the distance from both middle "legs" (near the LED brake light) to the edge of the deck lid and also the two outer "legs" (the ones near the edge of the rear fenders) to make sure that the distances were the same. Once I did that, I did the measuring again and again, until I was satisfied that the spoiler was straight. Another hint, the Nissan logo in the middle of the trunk (near the key hole) can be used to find the center of the deck lid. If I remember correctly the center line is about in between the "ss" in NISSAN, but you measure to be sure. Once you mark the center, you can use that guide to center the LED brake light on the center and the rest of the wing will be centered horizontally. To center it vertically, you have to do the steps mentioned above (measuring). Like I said, I could go on and on since it's so fresh in my mind, but when you guys get yours in let me know if your kits are similar to mine and we'll go from there.

There isn't a shop worth squat that will install a spoiler for that kind of money. I called every one in the yellow pages locally and most didnt even want to take the risk and the ones who did wanted over $100 easily.
