How old is my 1995 Maxima

I recall buying my 1995 Maxima from an auto broker in 1994. The car came from upstate NY. It was made in the Oppama plant in Japan. It even has a factory defect on the sheet metal, there is a crease on the top of the driver side rear quarter panel. I think the car is approaching 20 years this month but wanted to know if there is something on the engine label or under he hood that would tell me date of manufacture. Driving it to work on a regular and still gets about 24-26 mpg on the highway.

Manufacture date is on the vehicle information tag on the drivers door.

Driver side door. I have a 95SE, built in August 1994, ordered loaded in June. I didn't get it until October 1st (rustproofed, leather protected and Diamond coated on September 30th).

Thanks for the information. I have an SE also. Spoiler brake light went dead. Bought a replacement from a company online but no tabs to screw onto the spoiler. I have to tell you whatever Nissan did with the rustproofing they did a helluva job. That car has been in the mud and through some scary deep water scenarios, not to mention NJ harsh winters and no rusting of the bodywork.

Don't look at your lower radiator core support unless you want this belief shattered into a million pieces. There is no way a '95 that wasn't a gararge queen is rust-free living in the northeast. That is, unless the car had an aftermarket rustproofing applied early in its life. Nissan deserves no credit.

I had my 95SE after-market rustproofed the day before I took possession. I live on the west coast of British Columbia. No rust whatsoever, just coming up to 100,000 miles.
