Your interior looks perfect!

As far as grilles go, I would try looking up "cefiro grill/e" or "i30 grill/e" on ebay, because that is our counterpart in the united states. As far a front lips go, I think duraflex made one for the Infiniti I30, however I am not sure if it would fit on your U.K. spec bumper. You could be the guinea pig!

One question, was is the button that is two the left of your shifter? A sport button?

Pop your hood and show us your engine bay.
All USA Maximas and I30s came with the biggest VQ V6 motor at the time, the VQ30DE.

My car has perforated tan leather but it doesn't look anywhere as deliciously creamy as yours. Wow. LOVE my steering wheel though

I just noticed that your center dashboard is straight from the US Maxima, wheres as the US I30 has a slightly different, more vertical center dash.

And your speedo reads to 160 mph as opposed to the 140mph of US Maximas.

Interesting.

Show us your engine bay! I bet it has the, what is popularly known as MEVI here on the forums, to correlate with that higher speedo.

Haha, not only is it the vq30de, it's the Mevi one. US maximas got pwned

On another note. Your trunk cluster seems to be a newer model than the brake lights flanking it.

265 seems to be a very wide tire. Most people upgrade to about 235 with a few going 245. Check out this thread for suspension/lowering questions;

https://maxima.org/forums/5th-genera...on-thread.html

Even though it s 5th gen thread, 95% of the information applies to the 4th gen as well.

Check this thread to see all the I30/I35s out there...lots of pics;

Thanks for all your help and information, its been very interesting. Well, now down to the back lights. The rear cluster that runs across the back of the boot ? The one on the photo is the O/E one off a 1995 car.there is a crack in the fog light, so I have replaced it with one off a 1997 car (£30) of eBay. Very little difference to the old one, only difference I can see is that the 1997 cluster centre section is slightly darker, all most smocked in appearance.

Just got round to changing the old grille, hated the O/E grille. Look like one off a micra.glad to see the back of that.
Also been down to price up some new alloys, decided to go with 18s.lowering springs turned up last week but want to check out the ball joints before I start work on it as the steering is a little vague.
I think that this might be a long project, not in a great rush as this is only a 2nd car plus I also have my motorbike.

Vague steering is probably your outter tie rods. Look up phmor. He has lots of YouTube videos on maxima maintenance. Also you should change all your fluids.... Tranny, steering etc for those systems to last long without leaks

Just checked and found out that the vague steering is down to strut baring. So will replace both as I am looking to lower the car 40mm all round. Found the wheels I am going for, a set of ST16s in gunmetal. 18x8.5 all round,
