want to replace fuel filter
want to replace fuel filter

Whats your thoughts.

Buy the Nissan 300zx fuel filter. Its made in Japan compared to the one thats stock thats made in mexico or China. I bought it and it has really better build quality it feels and looks like a premium filter. Get the original one by Nissan. Its the one that last the longest to 60,000 miles.
Does going OEM on fuel filter really matter? I go with whatever equivalent (FRAM, Purolator etc) is at the parts store because it's a really simple device. Just so long as you replace it regularly.
As long as they are replaced at a decent interval, FRAM, Purolator etc. are fine...plus the fact that if u change em more frequently than 60k, the easier they are to remove the gas line from...its a 5 min. job i dont mind doing
So I received my oem filter today. I also replaced the small sections of fuel hose before and after the filter. Two sections where the clamps were was separated. Im surprised I did not have a fuel leak.

It's very important that when you replace that hose, you the correct replacement that us in spec. Off the top of my head the specification goes something like sae r39. It should be written repeatedly on the hose.
The only reason I didn't recommend a Z32 is because of a previous post I read where someone was talking about it affecting fuel pressure and you shouldn't use it without a way to adjust it.
Everyone keeps chiming in saying you should have though, so it figures I stumbled across some misinformation. OEM will still last you at least 60k, but I've seen them on cars still at 200k with the original. You're fine.
