My car is a 1995 nissan maxima manual transmission.When i start the car on i cant change gears and i release the clucth pedal and the car shuts off.Any one knows what might be the problem.The only when i can move or push the car is to not release the clutch even in nuetral

 

Your transmission is stuck in a gear. Search and you will find other threads with a possible fix involving removing the reverse light switch.

 

what he said. can you move the shifter in to all gears, or are you unable to get in to some of the gears?

 

Im able to move shifter to all gears but somehow 1 gear goes to neutral with any little movement even if i dont press the clutch.
