So I've had my maxima about 4 months. Bought a used keyless remote and its been a pain. I'm not sure if its just how the locks are supposed to work but mine cant be right. When in the car if you press unlock button on door it locks all doors and only unlocks doors when you push it a second time. When you keyless...you push once driver door unlocks, push twice and passenger unlocks, push 3 times all doors relock, push 4 times and all doors finally unlock. Is it possible the remote is programmed wrong? It's a huge pain in the *** please help!!

 

Do you have an official Nissan key fob or an off brand one. Using keyless the 1st time you press to unlock opens your driver only. 2nd time you press to unlock opens passenger and rear 2 doors.
