Hey guys I'm in the middle of doing a 3.5 swap. Need this question answered in a hurry. I'm doing the 3.5 swap with the 3.0 timing. I no a lot of people use the 3.5 cam tensioner has anyone had a problem with it!? I have it on mine and my cam chains aren't running in them right. The 3.5 has like example hand rails on a bridge. We'll the chain should run in the middle and mines not it's running to the more toward the outside timing cover and is kinda riding on the rails. I'll try to post a pic my phone isn't letting me do it thanks guys

 

Use all 3.0 timing components.

I was thinking 3.5 cam tensioners were the same as the timing tensioners.

What about the cam caps that goes onto top of the tensioners? The cam cap would have to touch and I see the 3.5 used all day cause of they still have the solenoid for the varlible timing but entire just isn't hooked up

 

Did you use spacers on the 3.5 cams?
