I pulled my airbox out today. I found the (photo below) connector or sensor or whatever this thing is (circled in red) hanging free. The wire it's on comes out of the harness right next to the MAF connector wires.

What the heck is it? Looks like it needs to be inserted somewhere, but I can't see anywhere that it would insert that it reaches.

Air intake temperature sensor. Supposed to go in OEM lower black plastic snorkel.

 

Goes in red box here..

 

Thanks boys... I looked over the airbox with a magnifying glass, but I didn't think to check the snorkel.
