Drivetrian issue-55+mph Vibration on acceleration-Rhythmic gear grinding stopping

So, new problem. First symptom I noticed was a clicking/grinding noise when I accelerated from a dead stop. It kinda sounded like a gear rubbing on something for a second. Second symptom I noticed while driving on the interstate. When accelerating driving 55+ mph the car starts violently shaking as if a tire was improperly installed. It felt as if it was surely coming from the front passenger side. It also shakes the hell out of my gear stick. So going on this, and the fact that I can hear the cv axles popping when I turn, I replaced the passenger side cv axle. It did not fix my problem. After changing that, I noticed a third symptom that I'm almost certain was present before replacing the cv axle. When I slow to a stop, I can hear some sort of gear grinding in a rhythm that is proportional to my speed (NOT acceleration, NOT rpms). When I slow down enough I can hear what seems to be the teeth clicking on something.

It sounds like the flywheel is warped or something similar. It clicks like this:
Click click click click .....silence.... click click click click ...silence... (But more clicks. There's probably about 15-20 clicks)

What do you guys think?

Well, I found out the issue. Struts were shot causing the vibration, and bearings were shot causing the grinding.

I was gonna say, your great description told me the struts were causing the vibrations. Glad to hear you fixed both issues.

Awesome....Next time I would suggest if it's that bad you don't drive it....But jack it up immediately if there are issues like these that could cause you too have a fatal accident!

I've seen a strut upper mount pull the nut and threads off the piston rod stud and turn the passenger wheel perpendicular to the longitudal axis of the car and crash....the driver lost control of the vehicle, once the strut piston rod failed!

Ok Mr. one in a million. Not a likely scenario.
