AC Compressor Clutch Bearing

AC Compressor Clutch Bearing
So I figured out my loud engine was the AC pulley. I got a new bearing at Autozone but the outer disc doesn't pull off easily (special tool). While I was "working" on it I must have really jostled it around just right because next time I ran it it seized and burned up my belt. So I "short-belted" it (found the part number on here somewhere) and I'm trying to figure out how to get that outer plate off. The bearing was $25 and I'm trying to do it on the car in the unlikely event the AC works to avoid having to go through all the steps if I open up the system (disconnecting the hoses and pulley the compressor out). I do recall it didn't blow cold when I tried it last summer, but I also don't think it kicked on, so it might be electrical.
Anyway, should I be thinking used compressor or keep trying to get that outer plate off? Ideas?
Thanks

I remedied a noisy bearing by replacing the clutch and bearing from one that I picked up at a salvage yard. I found a good set on a wrecked Infiniti I30. I watched the following video in advance.
Note: I did not need to cut any bolts for removal as shown in the video. The clutch was bolted to the compressor shaft like the replacement bolt in the video. However, the clutch shaft splines had rusted in place. So I had to pull the compressor to remove the clutch. It was pain to get the old clutch off but worth it in the end.
