repainting spark plug cover

repainting spark plug cover

i'm in the process of repainting my spark plug cover. it was blue before. i'm repainting it chrome...lol. well, at least it matches up with my polished valve cover. i'm waiting for it dry a bit then put more coats on it. actually, it looks pretty good so far. it's not really too chrome though. i used this same chrome color on the mesh part of my smx grill. i'll take some pics when it's done and on my car.

does the paint you use on the plastic cover have to be temp ressitant?> cuz i cant find any colors i like that are temp restistant.

i don't know if it has to be temp resistant for the spark plug cover. however, mine is temp resistant. i bought it at auto zone.
