Price for exhaust installation at a franchise chain?

Just wanted to ask what someone would pay or has paid for a complete exhaust installation on a 1995 SE at a Meineke or Midas? I know there are exhaust shops and do it your-selfers but I only have this option available. Thanks.

some people like to know other people's price for install, just incase they are being overcharged or something.

whats your definition of complete? if we're talking new exhaust manifolds all the way down to new muffler, $600ish labour. if youre leaving the manifolds, $200-$400

Thanks for the info. I would be replacing everything but try to save my catalytic converter which is still in good shape. The flanges and bolts are shot. My muffler has a hole in it that I have tried to repair. I just want to make sure they give my exhaust tip back. Don't know why when I see new exhaust installs on 95-96 Maximas, they just give a straight pipe minus the exhaust tip.

Rock auto has a Walker cat back kit at a reasonable price with new tip. If you have tools and work area.

I replaced muffler and B-pipe myself just last month, the job isn't difficult at all, assuming you can loosen those rustic and frozen bolts, that was the most challenging part of the job.

If the bolts are rusted badly I would suggest cutting them off with a Cut Off wheel and replacing everything with SS...I'm still running the replacement SS hareware I installed 10 yrs ago on my exhaust system, Ace Hardware is Highly recommended....

depends on if you going aftermarket or staying stock.

IF you are staying stock and DONT need to replace the cat, then 600 or so installed. With stock cat...$1000. Rockauto.com is your friend here.

If you doin aftermarket then it will probable cost around the same. But an aftermarket cat is will much cheaper. Prolly, 100 bucks or so.

An exhaust shop should be able to fabricate something for you. Prolly $800 installed for everything
