Front bushing are bad question is should i change the complete arm.
Or should i just replace the bushing only with the poly type.

Replacing just the bushing may be cheaper parts-wise, but I recommend just replacing the whole arm since you're already going through much of the labor, plus the whole arm will last longer and you'll be getting a new ball joint in it.

I see the MOOG CK line LCAs being recommended over the RK line here on the ORG.

I put in a MOOG last summer when my original control arm failed at 225k miles. Highly recommend MOOG also. AdvancedAuto online with code TRT30 gives you 30% off

Check www.rockauto.com. I see Rock has the CK MOOG LCAs for $68.89 and $76.79 each.

See if the group buy on the LCAs are still available. I bought this kit and it has been in for 40 some thousand miles since. No issues. You have to assume if one LCA bushing is bad the other isn't far behind. While you probably don't want to do both LCAs you should strongly consider it. Mine was like a new car after. There's nothing wrong with Moog parts either IMO.

Hey Ham,

How are ya?

I just did both LCA's and Sway Bar End Links in my 99. I used the Moog CK620353 and CK620352 as well as the Moog End Links. While I was in there, I replaced the Sway Bar Bushings with Energy Suspension Bushings (black). Red.... Nahhhhh! LOL

Nice and tight and predictable and ZERO pull when stomping on the gas. Rides SO MUCH quieter. (But I did my strut assemblies in November too) Moog again!

I bought the end links AND the ES bushings from Amazon and that qualified for free shipping. Around $43 or so delivered.

The CK LCA's were a little less than $70 each and shipping was $8 total to Long Island. You're not that far away, so it should be similar!

Do both sides! You'll be glad you did! And you'll need to do an alignment right away to be safe from uneven tire wear!

If you have any questions on the change out, let us know. There's a few things that can be a PITA if you go in blind!

Good luck!!!

Here's the link I promised. That video skips over too many steps and potential GOTCHA'S! Read it and be ready and you'll get it all done in one day!

Stay warm!

Good luck!!!

The only thing I hate about ordering parts is waiting for them to come.

I would do the ES bushings and replace ball joints when the time comes. But I don't have rust issues like the north east or Midwest.

I just like urethane and stiffer suspension.

Ok so we had some nice weather to,so i decide to replace my lower control arms. All went well. The job wasn't to bad.

Next i want to replace my out tie rods but those thinks will not budge.
Im probably better off changing the inner and outer.

Do the moog inner and outer tie rods for sure. You'll need to rent a tool for the inner rod but auto zone has it and it's really not hard.

I'd also recommend doing the moog sway bar end links and es sway bar bushings. All of it is very do able and pretty straight forward. The difference is night and day.

I recently completed all of that as well as the 6th gen bbk upgrade and new rear brakes with ss lines. It feels like a completely different car and I've fallen in love with it all over again.

I use rock auto for all my orders. Their prices usually the best.

I think the 3rd Gen Moog LCA you can only get the economy Moog they don't offer a Problem Solver line for that car....The different is the Balljoint design one is a sealed Balljoint (No grease zerk) which is the economy line, and of course the Problem Solver line consist of greaseable joints which include grease zerks....for those those that were curious.
