fuel pump

I just bought my bae in October. Getting her ready for the spring and the future. Should i change the fuel pump now or wait until it goes bad?also is it located under the gas tank? I plan oN doing an N1 exhaust catbak. I wish i could find some good leather seats next. Anywho any hehelp or feedback would be great.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Mine is still running at 309K.

Agreed.

Go ahead and give your Max a full tuneup though if you haven't done so already....fuel filter, spark plugs, PCV valve, air filter, drain and refill all fluids
