window issue

So I had an argument with my girlfriend this morning who stormed off slamming my car door!
The window fell down and now it won't roll up or stay up.
What's broken???

+1 A hard slam will break the plastic on the regulator.

Yep the plastic that joins the window to the regulator or the plastic that anchors the moving part to the regulator cable is brittle as hell.......as I found out when reinstalling my window.....

Had that too. Replaced the regulator, but that didn't fix it. It was the motor.

The final drive gear in the motor is 2 pieces bonded together by a rubber type material. The bond broke on me so of course the window wouldn't go up or down even though you could hear the motor running. You could pull the window up by hand and it would slide down as you drove the car.
