Where to buy AC clutches?
Do you guys now where I can find AC clutches for 1999?
I see this has been discussed, but there is only obsoleted info.
The bearing went bad and a shop couldn't press it out properly, so I'll need new pulley...
Compressor was working fine - no need to go trough the expenses to replaces it.
I'm trying to avoid getting whole compressor just to take off the clutches from it.
Thanks in advance for any useful info

I picked up one from a salvage yard. Actually I pulled the compressor and clutch and removed the clutch once I got it home. The compressor from a 97 was not interchangeable but the clutch was. A new clutch was almost as expensive as a rebuilt compressor. I got the compressor and all for about $50 as I recall. It is easy to determine if the bearing is quiet before you pull it in the salvage yard. Otherwise I would check WWW.rockauto.com

I found one for my Durango for $110 on Amazon. It didn't show up when I searched the Amazon site, but when I googled it I finally found it (although I think it was a page or two in). IIRC, I put in the Dodge part number in the search.
Amazon often has great prices on car parts, but their indexing leaves a lot to be desired.

For the record- I found rebuilt clutch assembly from a re-builder. Cost me less than 100 shipped. Its four times chipper than what I found in any local auto store. Works fine. There 2 types/sizes before and after 04/99 as far as I understood
