Neone Lighting?

Just curiosity on this one more than anything for now. But I was wondering if anyone has pics with the neon underbody kits for their max? I mean when it is hooked up do you see the bulbs or just the glow effect? I am looking for no bulbs to show but just the lighting.

Also how much of a pain is it to hook it up and what color do you thikn would look decent with a black car?

I have a dark green (black looking) max with blue neons underneath (the Streetglow kit). It looks pretty hot.. I didn't hook it up myself but got it installed from this performance shop, they did a pretty good job, very professional. I watched them put it on though and didn't look too hard, especially if you have access to a lift. The two side tubes are still visible from a distance, like if you have them on on the highway, cars further away from you will be able to see. It still looks good though, I'm thinking about putting some type of side-skirts on so then only the glow will be there and you won't be able to see the tubes. Now THAT will look HOT . If you have a black car then blue is the best color to go with in my opinion. I'll try to take some pics a little later, too lazy to do it right now .

Blue & Purple? I don't know, they may look decent but in my opinion I think my white kit turns more heads. I did my own install. Like "fo sHo" said, from far away you could see the side tubes, as well as my front, but my rear one is mounted up higher. Planning on getting the aero kit so it should hide all the tubes. I got my "Low GLow" kit from Greg at custommaxima.com for $155 shipped.

i have done this install 3 times so far and one of them of course was on my max. It really is not that hard, just alot of tie rapping to keep the wires out of the way. I went with blue, and since i have the sarona side skirts u can not see the bulb, before you could see it. any specific install questions just give me a holla.

You will see the bulbs unless you have a body kit...

i got a blue kit and the sides you can see the tubes and the front you can but i just got a front lip so you just see the glow on the front of mine now. yellow would look pretty good on a black car. thats just my opinion others may say different. i did it my self. its hard when you just have one jack.

Then can cost between $100-150 for the install, but I am sure it can be found cheaper...the place where I go usually installs them for $75 if you have done work before, but I heard of people paying $150 to install them. The Street Glow are very strong, and if you get the gold kit they will replace it for free if it breaks...my friends broke when they towed his car for DWI, he sent it to street glow and got a new one.
