Best Alternative for FIPG

I would like to know what the best alternative is for FIPG, if there is one. I have a small oil leak I am trying to track down. Its either the valve cover or the front crankshaft seal. The oil drips down where the oil filter is on the crank position sensor cable. There is also oil on the outside of the oil filter, but the filter itself isn't leaking. I might have to resort to dye to try to find the leak. Its not big enough to fix yet, but I do want to know where its coming from.

I always just clean the area well and inspect soon after.

Valve cover leak wouldn't be my guess for way down by your filter.
That sounds like the oil pressure sensor maybe.
And the CPS getting soaked is either your crank o-ring, or the half moon seal.

Is that the half moon seal on the oil pan?

Yep. Upper.
If you do that you should do the other side and oil pump o-rings as well.

Permatex ultra black to supplement the valve cover gaskets, ultra gray for the fipg everywhere else.
