I have a 99 maxi ca car. The swirl solenoid works intermittently, It's controlled by the ecu. I have no ground signal from the ecu. If i apply ground to the solenoid it operates and then turns the plates. Im figuring the ecu is bad. I have continuity from the blue/white stripped wire from the ecu connector to the solenoid. No ground signal though. Im not sure if there are certain parameters that need to be met before the ecu send a signal at idle. Has anybody else had this problem. Any advice is helpful.
