Disconnect battery Terminal for clear signals?

Hello Before I get started on installing my clear turn signals (this is my first mod),
Do I have to disconnect the battery terminal to avoid any electrical shortages? or does it really matter? just as long as the car is off right?

I found the thread on how to install them but It doesn't say "Before you start remove the battery terminal" I just wanted to double check before I do anything.

just pry off the side signals should snap off, unscrew the inner and the fronts come off, install new bulbs and re-wind what I just did is pretty much it right?

also In the package, it came with 2 big orange bulbs and 2 small bulbs,

I assume the big ones are for the fronts and small are on the sides?

came with screws, 2 small clips that attach to something, and 2 tiny small "cone" looking.

Shouldn't be a difficult task. Disconnecting the battery to just replace your corner lamps isn't necessary. I'd only suggest disconnecting the battery if you were replacing an ecu or sensors or fuel pump etc. You should be fine just remove the corner lamps and plug your new ones in.

You are correct. If you have any doubts just take a look at your old ones for reference when you take them out.

got both sides done, and is it normal for them to be a little wobbly if i touch them? I screwed them up real tight. looks great afterwards! they're aftermarket so they're not 100% direct fit but 95-98% direct fit?

Ok so I think i found the problem, the thing that inserts into the "cone" looking thing is a little too small, my stock ones fit in perfectly,

Do I switch out the aftermarket cone with the stock old one in there? maybe that'll help it... but How do i get the cone out?

Okay So the cone was the problem, I just took out the old one with the aftermarket cone, No more wobble and took it for a test drive, doesn't fall out no more on bumps or anything, with the old cone that thing was falling out so easily, one little bump..boom it falls out, I touch it on the side, it falls out..but no more of that after replacing the cone with the aftermarket one.

tripled check to make sure it was nice and tight! im suprised the driver side didn't need replacing the cone and its tight, guess just one side it was loose... Well either way im happy i did it. took me over an hour -_- oh well.
