Hood Vents??

Hood Vents??

Si after a furiously hot summer and a really bad overheating, ive been really thinking about either making my own hood vents or buying some to help release all the heat the maxima produces, especially mine as i do not run a full stock setup and constantly street race it. If anyone could share some info with me on this or maybe some advice or where to buy some, etc, that would be great and highly appreciated.

Why not figure out why your vehicle is overheating first?
Even with your non "full stock setup" you shouldn't be overheating. Many of us I'm sure are far more modded and don't have overheating problems.

Engine overheating has absolutely nothing to do with ambient temperatures.

It has to do with a failure or compromise of the cooling system.

Cheesey hood scoops and rigged vents will do nothing to address a blown head gasket or cracked block.
