3/5 lugs.....

Yesterday as I did my struts, two of my lugs broke off, making the wheel only held in by 3/5 lugs..is it safe until I get it fixed tomorrow? Thats the soonest the shop can start on it.. And I have errands I really shouldn't put off..what do you guys think?

Lugs

Pretty sure itll be fine if its just one day. Just tighten them enough but not too tight that ull break the remaining ones off. Why have a shop do it? Time? Tools? Its fairly easy and u can buy the studs at autozone. Only hard part will be hammering out the broken studs. U will save a lot of money by doing it urself rather taking it to get done at a shop.

I would say you could get by on 4, but not 3. Don't risk it.

3 is ok as long as the lug nuts sit in a triangle shape your ok. But get it fixed asap and dont speed. Its very easy to fix. To remove the studs You just need a hammer, to tighten it down you need impact gun, washers and lugnut. But you have to remove rotor and capliper first. All you need is a 14mm and a 12mm iirc to do that.

DIY. It's extremely easy to do.

Do not drive on three.

Did all 5 within 35 minutes. Wasn't bad at all, and less than 12$ total cost. Thanks everyone!
