Im in the mix of replacing my clutch, tob, seals and axels. Before pulling tranny out, I had a noise when ideling, more like a chatter racket noise, when i pushed in clutch pedal noise was gone, when i left off the clutch pedal noise would come back, i have no shaft play in the tranny, is this a throw out bearing issue? or sounds of bad tranny? Could low tranny fluid cause this? Or extremely worn clutch, I have 193k miles with ORIGINAL CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE etc... Anyhow before buying a new transmission or rebuilding it suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Sounds like a throw out bearing. Replace it along with everything else. Resurface flywheel is often recommended as well.
