alarm problems maxima se

My dam alarm goes off for when I open the door driver door... I did notice the door lever does not fully open ..well I pulled the door panel off and lube the rods but still not working right ... so I was wondering if the actuator is weak ? Went to pull fuses for the horn but it still works lol...so if there's any tips to care of this? Thanks

There is an electrical switch on the key cylinder that is used by the BCM to detect if the door is locked or unlocked. It could be bad.

But if the mechanism isn't moving all the way, then this is probably the problem. The door lock mechanism is really strange and complex for what it needs to be and there is probably more mechanism than you realized and/or lubricated.

But a way to try checking the switch on the key cylinder would be to roll the driver window down and lock the car, setting the alarm. then reach in through the window and unlock the door manually. This should make the mechanism operate fully. Then open the door and see if the alarm goes off. If the alarm does not go off, then it is the mechanism not moving all the way.

But if you want to stop the horn from honking, you can remove a relay. It is the Theft Warning Horn Relay-2, located under the hood in the relay box by the power steering fluid reservoir.
