Injector broke; engine flooded; any long term concerns?

So my Maxima just died on the road and refused to start back up. Got towed to the mechanic. He found that an injector failed and flooded the engine with gas.

Should I have any long-term concerns over what happened?

The injectors have an issue because they are old. The plastic seal at the tip of it is called a pintle cap. They crack, and cause the flooding. Generally when one breaks, the others can break as well, and at any time. Some of us have the injectors rebuilt as preventative maintenance. The three in front are easy to deal with. The other three are under the intake manifold. So the manifold would need to be removed to gain access.

If a hydraulic lock occurs a connecting rod can get bent. The VQ30 has pretty strong rods though. Change the oil if the mechanic didn't already.
