Well looking around randomly I find this car for sale w/ a 97 trunk with all 96 tail-lights, outer and inner... Seems a bit odd but looks like it was rear ended.

Thought it wasn't do-able without the 97 inners.. guess that isn't the case. but it looks weird.

Looks like utter crap.

 

The workmanship is simply phenomenal.

It's truly amazing what one can accomplish with duct tape, zip ties and Gorilla glue.

Other than the front seat, rr door damage and the trunk lid swap of another color, the car looks reasonably clean.

 

I grew up in Huntington Beach Ca, and people do all kinds of crazy things to their car out there. I could go on for hrs, but the craziest thing I saw was a Gremlin that had "custom" stripes on the car. Homemade stripes, at that, not unusual in of itself. What made these stripes beyond awesome, was that the were made from carpet, and glued onto the car. Lmao, of course I was appalled as a human, and down right sick to my stomach, as a car painter at that time.

Vato was super proud of his creation, so I bit my tongue, his car, his look, who am I to say different, and thank God he didn't ask my opinion. Ain't told that story in years.

To the untrained eye you guys are probably thinking this max is a pos...dont be fooled by the looks. This max has No emissions and no abs crap. This is the kind of max you want.

 

I see California plates & an LA CL ad... Wish I was in the market for a Max. If there's really no Cali emissions & abs, I'd drive to pick this up in a heart beat. Just needs body work
