Is this a sign of a bad axle?

Hello guys, a problem just came up with my car a few days ago... All of the sudden when I am driving there is a clicking noise that happens every time my rear tires make a complete 360 degree rotation. The faster i go the faster and quieter the clicking noise gets, the slower i go the clicking gets slower but it gets louder. It happens while breaking, speeding up, and turning, its just continuous and making me go insane!!! It sounds like its coming from the back.. anyone have an idea on what it could be? Maybe the axle? Thanks for your help everyone

no i didnt see any pebbles in the tire, i had someone else drive it today while standing outside of the car it sounds like its coming from the direct middle between the 2 rear tires.. around the trunk area

Maximas are front wheel drive, and the rear hubs spin on bearings at the ends of the axle. Dont know how u expect the noise to be coming from the middle of the axle?? Jack it up and spin the tires.

You might want to jack up each wheel and spin it by hand to see if you can hear the click. While you are at it, check again for rocks or nails.
